Oh yeah, Baby!!!

So I am feeling pretty good about myself today :)  I stuck to the plan perfectly.  I did snitch two pepperonis off of the pre-baked pizzas, but I ran it through e-tools and it came up as zero ppv :)  I have 3 hours until bed time and I'm pretty sure I am going to go and get a sugar free shave ice.  I really do love them and it feels so good to be on plan.  Just for your information, 1/12th of a Costco take and bake pepperoni pizza has a ppv of 8.  I figured it that way as e-tools says that 117gs of a restaurant style one meat topped pizza has a ppv of 8.  I weighed 1/12th of the Costco take and bake and it had 116g per slice.  I am some what bummed, because I was hoping that it would have been more like an 1/8th of the pizza for that price, but I was WAY off.  I ate a ton of salad, carrots and watermelon and then had my 3 double stuff Oreos for dessert.  I do feel quite satisfied.  I need to have another perfect day tomorrow and Saturday.  Sunday is my daughters birthday and the Monday is the 4th.  I'll need all of my wppa for those two events.  It's a big hit not being able to be active, but starting next week I can swim in the mornings and that earns me a TON of appvs :)  I am trying to enjoy being lazy for a few days.  I would have weeded this morning, but with all of the lightening, I didn't find it a wise move to skip it.... the rain was a problem too ;D

I'll probably eat some watermelon later...

I lost 1.8#'s this morning from my weight last Wednesday AM.  At WW, I only lost .2.  I ate WAY too much crap at my sil's house today.  I really ate that "healthy" food for lunch at her house, plus the cheese stick.  I was planning on eating the same thing that I did last Wednesday and doing the same activity, but I wasn't at home and I am banned from exercise for a bit.  I can ride my bike, but that aggravates my ITB :p  I can swim, but not until the wart medicine on the bottom of my foot comes off in a few days, I also can't bend my foot for 2 weeks, so no usual yoga, elliptical or treadmill.  The big challenge will be to NOT eat anything tonight, except watermelon.  I'd better cut it up and get it ready for when the inevitable hits and I want some food :)  I am supposed to make some killer Butterfinger Peanut Butter cookies for a friend, but there is no way I can do it tonight without eating them all.  I need to do it another night when I am less weak. ....who know's when that will ever be :)
I officially went over my entire PP budget for the week by 49 ppv.  I have got to find a way to ACTUALLY stick to the budget.  My environment is the main problem.  I eat ANYTHING anyone gives me.  As I have told y'all before, when someone gives me food to eat it must be a sign from God that I should eat it.  It's a weird thing I do :p  Coo Coo for Cocoa Puffs!  God wants me happy and healthy, not fat and miserable! (sorry about the "f" word...)  I'll just have to take it one day at a time.  One evening, one meal, one day, one week.  So for this evening, it's going to be watermelon, even if it is a WHOLE one :)

Do not MOCK me...

I started out ok today but then it just went down hill.  I did eat a bunch of watermelon and grapes that I forgot to track.  So tomorrow is weigh in day and I am wishing I had had a better grip on sunday and monday.  As it turns out, my foot is broken so I can't ellipt for another couple weeks.  The good news is that I can still swim ;)  ..and since the injury happened about 3+ weeks ago, I am on the mend and should be out of my super cool awesome shoe in two weeks :)

A little late...

I forgot to post this before bed last night :(  I had the BEST day at the pool.  I LOVE being in the sun.  I go through about a gallon of 50 spf sun screen every time I go, but it feels SO good to be warm and in the sun.  I bought a big floppy brimmed hat to wear when I am outside.  It's awesome!!!  I ate one too many pieces of pizza at the pool and the licorice nibs were an unplanned extravagance.  I actually only ate 2 pieces of pizza and the crust of three others, so I figured that that was equal to one piece of pizza, or close to it.

....well....

I should have known that starting the day off with a cinnamon roll from Shirley's was going to make for a bad start.  I shouldn't say that, we went to the temple first and then to Shirley's.   It would have been OK and not too bad, but the food at the stake RS cooking class tonight was SO tasty!!!  I had two brownies :(  ...they were SOOOoooo good!  Why can't I just eat ONE of yummy things???  I still have wppa left for the weekend.  I am going to have to be REALLY cautious and use my appa as a cushion.  David picked up my elliptical tonight.  I am SO excited!  Now I can ellipt all I want, whenever I want.   Oh, and the Blueberry Syrup by Walden's is VERY good... well, better than the maple and ZERO calories!!!

Oh Baby, am I COOL!!!

So I am pretty happy about today.  I weighed in and LOST 2 lbs this week :)  SO happy!  I am needing to keep that up to make up for all of the stress eating I have been doing and total lack of regular running these past months since my accident.  I've pretty much had to have a major talk with myself yesterday and have come up with a good plan.  I hope to have some good strategies in place to deal with the long term affects of stress on me.  I don't see the stress reducing anytime soon, so I've got to figure out how to live with it... and not lose my hair and get sick.  Man oh man.  I am probably being a bit dramatic ;)  We are going to spend the afternoon at the pool tomorrow.  A bit of RnR will be welcomed along with the sun :)  The sun sure makes me feel better about the whole world :)

Ingredients

  1 cup(s) fat-free skim milk   
1/2 tsp table salt   
3 tsp baking powder   
2 tsp vanilla extract   
  3 item(s) egg   
  1 cup(s) uncooked wheat berries   
  1 large banana(s)   

Instructions


Blend milk and 1 C whole wheat Kernals for 4 min in blender. Then add the remaining ingredients. For belgian waffles, separate the eggs and beat egg whites to stiff peaks. Fold in the egg whites after all of the other ingredients a have been mixed in.
