Perfect Day!

I am still recovering from my failed/flopped/dnf 1/2 marathon so no exercise for at least a week.  I may go to the pool to "pool run" later this week, but that isn't much of a workout.  We will have to see how it goes.   I feel really good and satisfied today food wise.  I love it when a day goes exactly as you planned and you aren't starving.  I am not as tired as I have been the past two days and that is good.  I went to the temple this morning and then to Costco.  I picked up lunch for David at Wendy's but only ordered a GIANT diet Coke for me.  Later my 14 year old called me while I was out visiting teaching and asked if she could make Snicker-doodles.  I told her "NO" ;)  HUGE victory for me!  We had Popsicle's for dessert and they were TASTY!  I had 2 because I had the PPV's for them.  I had two Monkey Bars.  They are a knock off of Creamies and super CHEEP!!!  I am going to go to bed here soon.  I am tired.  The laundry is almost finished...well the clothes part.  I have been so busy that I haven't been washing the towels and sheets :(  I hope to get the GIANT pile of sheets and towels finished tomorrow.... or the next day ;)  So long as everybody has clean underwear ...and clothes, I can live with a mountain of dirty stuff in the laundry room.  Heck at this point, it is blocking my path to the brownie mixes and marshmallow cream ;D

DNF. Hmm. They don't sound like bad letters to me. DNF. Did Not Fail. Did Not Fall. Did Not Finish is actually good too. Even though this race kicked you in the ear, doesn't mean that you are going to quit, right? So not finishing is a good thing...you aren't quiting. That is one of the amazing things I see in you, Guru, is that you never except failure. You may stumble, you may eat over 100 ppv in a day, you may get hit by a car, you may have the whole world fall on top of you, but you still get right back on the wagon and are determined to never quit. (You are a huge example to me of ENDURING!!!) This is what I love about you. You are Determined Never to Fail! DNF! :) You rock!
