South America and Back!

Because of about a million little things, this weekend was a bit worse than usual. Mainly, I tracked NOTHING! Well, a bit here and there, but not good at all. Saturday was a total flop with a cherry on top. OK, Saturday had a few cherries :) Saturday started out GREAT with the First Annual RHPC (Red Hot Pink Chick) 1/2 Marathon in Provo, Utah. It was a SCREAMING success :) We all had a GREAT time and really enjoyed ourselves. About 40 runners came and WOW, was it cool. The prize was this GREAT rooster.... aaah, the beloved RHPC Rooster....
Anyway- as I was on my way home, I got a phone call to tell me that my baby, (3 year old William) was being taken to the hospital by ambulance for a head injury he sustained at the Scottish Festival. That was ALL I got! SO, I got back to Payson as FAST as I could, of course, to find my 12 year old, still crying, in the ER bed, holding a somewhat somber, but pretty darn OK, little William ready for a hug from mom. PHEW!!!!! It seems, as no one saw the accident, that he must have tripped and hit his head against the side of a ride and just blew a nice big hole in his forehead. The doc sewed him up with a bunch of stitches on the inside and then about 8, we think, on the outside. Within a few hours, Will was back to his normal, crazy self :) He even is SO "normal" that in the middle of our church meetings on Sunday, he stood up on the arm of the pew and jumped off into the isle, nearly knocking him self in the noggin again! (Did I mention this was RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF CHURCH???)

We did have a big family party on Sunday AND a big BBQ at our friends on Monday :) I have just been so wiped out from all of the excitement, that I haven't been doing my due diligence with the tracking. I am POOPED out! I think I did get all of the CRAP I have eaten recorded, and listed below- but who knows. I hope you are all having a GREAT day!! I hope the "brain" pic did not make you sick :p
