Lose For GOOD!!!

How are all of you on this fine BEAUTIFUL Sunday afternoon?? I am officially in love with summer
So much to say... where to begin :) Well how about this weeks meeting? :) The Lose For Good Campaign is back and we are ON BOARD!!! For those of you who are new, for every pound you lose, Weight Watchers will donate a $1 to national food banks, up to $1,000,000. Also, we will be collecting food at all of our locations for local food banks. You may bring in non perishable food in the amount of weight you have lost or will lose during the campaign. This is a GREAT way to help yourself and others. Come in this week for all of the details and renewed motivation to keep moving toward better health :) What better way can we, not only bless our lives, but the lives of others who need our help?
#2 on my list- in keeping with lasts weeks meeting theme of mountain climbing... we are going to be climbing a mountain together :) In my Wednesday meeting in Payson, two of our WONDERFUL lifetime members shared that they had made a pact with each other to lose 20 pounds by Christmas. Well, as soon as they said it, EVERYONE wanted in on the pact. So, I passed around a red pen and paper and everyone who wanted to do the challenge signed in "BLOOD." This week in meetings, we will be starting our "climb" to 20#'s. This will be GREAT for our Lose For Good Campaign and for ourselves in reaching our goals :) Oh- if you do not have 20 to lose, or are at goal, we will make some special challenge for you :) AND for all of those who reach the summit, an amazing finishers medal :) Oh baby, you are gonna want one of these!
#3- see I told you there was TONS!!!... We've got our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event October 10th. It is a 4 mile walk around Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. This has been a BLAST every year so far, but WE NEED YOU!!! There is no cost to join us, just a Saturday morning in October. Please click the link below to join my team, The RED Hot PINK Chicks!!! (yes, men are VERY welcome- and what red blooded American male would not want to be in a sea of GORGEOUS women at an event for BREASTS?). I do need a count for t-shirts before September 10th. They are $6 for the shirt with our team name on it. PLEASE come. The walk is four loops around the park, so if you are only up for one or two, coolieo, no problem, do what you can :)
I am sure that I am forgetting something, but oh well! I am off to the concert in the park with my family! Have a GREAT day, and see you this week in the meetings :)
