I was just TOO hungry!

I was going to find some LOW PPV item for dinner with lots of veggies, but I was just too hungry and tired and knew that if I did not eat I would end up going crazy and eating something even worse than a little bit of dinner.  So, I am four ppv over today and I can live with that ;)  I did walk away from the vending machine at the hospital today and that is something to celebrate.  If I had kept my hands out of my SIL's purse in the NICU, I would have avoided the caramel corn; six stupid PPV's ;p  I think that is the really hard thing about hospitals, SO much time and so little to do but mindlessly munch on garbage.  I also feel SO justified in eating whatever I want while at the hospital.  With the way things have been going the last 18 months, I have got to come up with a hospital strategy.  Who would have ever thought I'd need a hospital plan??  I guess I'd better get on that one.
Oh and one thing about hospital food; it costs next to nothing for the fried crap, but $8.50 for an all fruit and greens salad.  What is up with that?  No wonder we are all getting so fat!  I mean REALLY, my dad is in the hospital having had a stroke and they are bringing him bacon, sausage and frosted chocolate cake?  I did help him out and eat the frosting off of his cake on Tuesday :)  I am such a good daughter.  He probably would have stopped me, but I sat on the side of him that was affected by the stroke.  Ok, I am kind of evil....
